Tyrannosaurs Fought and Ate Each Other

This skull of a juvenile Daspletosaurus from Alberta, Canada is in the news, because analysis shows that the skull bears several bite marks large enough that they were probably inflicted by another Tyrannosaur. Some of the bite marks are partially healed, so they represent wounds given while it was alive, presumably during battles with other Tyrannosaurs; some are post-mortem and probably represent the body being eaten, either by the animal that killed this one or by one that scavenged this corpse.
