More Thracian Gold

A tomb in Bulgaria has produced another trove of gold from the Classical period. Dating to around 400 BCE, this aristocrat's tomb was full of small golden wonders. Above, a golden horse that once adorned the end of a horse's bit. Below, a boss of uncertain function, perhaps another bit of horse harness. Below that is an item the Bulgarians are calling a diadem or tiara; other experts think it looks more like a torc.
